Product Description

Two herbs in one bag, which doubles your odds of a reaction.

Catnip and Silvervine Mix

Roughly a third of cats don't respond to catnip, and it's inherited — nothing you can train into them. Silvervine reaches many of those cats and often gets a stronger reaction from the ones who already like catnip. Mixing both means you aren't gambling on your cat's genetics.

Natural Catnip for Cats

Dried Nepeta cataria and Actinidia polygama, loose, with nothing else added. Rub a pinch between your fingers before offering it — bruising the leaves releases the aroma and makes the difference between a shrug and a reaction.

How to Use It

Sprinkle a pinch into a refillable toy, onto a scratching post to redirect scratching away from the sofa, or on bedding to make a new bed acceptable. A typical response lasts around ten minutes, after which most cats reset for an hour or two before it works again.

Keeping It Potent

The active compounds fade with air, light and warmth, which is why the sachet is sealed and why an open bag left in a sunny kitchen stops working within weeks. Store it closed, cool and dark. Suitable for cats from around six months — most kittens don't respond before then anyway. It refills anything in our interactive cat toys range with a catnip compartment.
