Product Description

Serious catnip for serious playtime.

100% Pure Dried Catnip

Nothing but dried Nepeta cataria — no stems padding it out, no filler, no additives. That's the whole difference between catnip that works and catnip that gets one sniff and a shrug. Cheap catnip is mostly stem, which is why so many owners conclude their cat isn't interested when the real problem was the product.

How to Use It

Sprinkle onto a toy, dust a scratching post to redirect scratching away from the sofa, or scatter a pinch on a new bed to make it acceptable. It also refills any toy with a catnip compartment. Rub a pinch between your fingers first — bruising the leaf releases the aroma and makes the difference between a reaction and nothing.

What to Expect

A typical response lasts around ten minutes, then most cats reset for an hour or two before it works again. Roughly two thirds of cats respond at all, and it's inherited, so if yours ignores a good-quality catnip it's genetics rather than the product. Non-addictive and safe for repeat use.

Keeping It Potent

The active compound breaks down with air, light and warmth, which is why the pouch reseals. An open bag left on a sunny kitchen counter stops working within weeks — keep it closed, cool and dark. If your cat is one of the third that doesn't respond, the silvervine mix in our interactive cat toys range is the one to try instead.
