Product Description

Have your cat chase a rainbow.

Catnip and Silvervine Cat Wand

Three plush danglers, each packed with a pesticide-free blend of catnip and silvervine. Filling with both matters because roughly a third of cats don't respond to catnip at all — it's inherited, not something they grow out of. Silvervine reaches many of those cats and often gets a stronger reaction from the ones who like catnip too.

Bouncy Elastic for Unpredictable Movement

Elastic string and a flexible curly-straw handle mean the danglers keep moving after you stop, which is what holds a cat's attention. A wand on a rigid line moves exactly where you put it; this one carries on bouncing, and cats chase what they can't predict.

How to Play With It

Move it away from your cat, not towards them. Short darts, pauses, brief disappearances behind furniture. Five to ten minutes twice a day beats one long session, and finish by letting your cat actually catch it — an unresolved hunt leaves them wound up rather than settled.

Safety and Storage

Use under adult supervision and don't leave wand toys out where a cat can get at them unattended. The elastic and rope are for play with you. Store it in a drawer between sessions — it keeps the catnip potent and the toy interesting. For solo play, the self-play options in our interactive cat toys range are the ones to leave out.
